This two-person ceramic altar workshop is an invitation to slow down and create together.

Held in my Boulder, Colorado studio, the session offers dedicated time and guidance for two people to work side by side—each creating their own ceramic altar as a personal object of meaning, intention, and presence.

Using traditional hand-building and coil techniques, I’ll guide you through the process from initial form to thoughtful detail. While each piece is shaped individually, the experience is shared—allowing space for quiet connection, conversation, and the natural rhythm of making alongside one another.

The focus is not on perfection, but on presence. On working with your hands, moving at a slower pace, and creating something that holds meaning beyond the moment it’s made.

During the workshop, you will:

• Hand-build a one-of-a-kind ceramic altar
• Learn foundational hand-building techniques using professional materials and tools
• Incorporate personal elements or symbolic details into your piece
• Prepare your work for kiln firing

All materials, tools, glazing, and firing are included. After the session, I will complete the glazing and firing process, and you’ll be notified when your altars are ready for pickup, typically within four weeks.
