The Bearing Vessel is a handbuilt ceramic offering vessel created as a place of support, rest, and intentional giving.
Raised on an arched base, the form feels both grounded and reverent — a quiet structure that lifts offerings slightly above the surface, honoring what is placed within. The shallow bowl is designed to receive: herbs, flowers, written intentions, ashes, stones, or sacred objects gathered through ritual or daily practice.
Extended handles stretch outward from the vessel, evoking a sense of balance and openness — as if the piece itself is in the act of offering. Its porous, matte surface carries the marks of hand and fire, emphasizing slowness, imperfection, and care.
This vessel is meant to live at the center of a ritual space — a focal point for gratitude, remembrance, release, or devotion. It invites pause. It asks for presence. It holds what is given without judgment or permanence.
